What is the Far Right's Dominant Trait?

At least insofar as the basest of all bases in this election, is it anger, or ignorance?

Thanks to some prescient folk (photographer Brett Marty through 538), I present to you Exhibit B:

How is it, exactly, that the angry white men of the far right, who continue to shout out Rev. Jeremiah Wright's name from the highest rooftops, are idiotic enough to claim Barack Obama is a Muslim? Please, help me to understand this. The Democratic candidate, who has been identified as being a member of Rev. Wright's congregation for 20 years, and is slung much mud at for having done so, is simultaneously a Muslim? Gee, that's a good one

Now it all comes clear, why McCain doesn't want his campaign to pound on the Rev. Wright non-issue. It's smart, actually, on a ninja level. If he doesn't bring up Wright, his mad rabid angry righters at the McPalin rallies can live comfortably in their...ahem..."knowledge" that Obama is a Muslim. Nh, sir.

It's awfully hard to have your cake and eat it too, if you haven't even figured out which knob turns on the oven. It's not the knob on the right. The knob on the right's the tool in the photo above.
